Beyoncé Giselle Knowles
Beyoncé Giselle Knowles was born on Sept 4th, 1981 in Houston,
Texas. Both of Beyoncé’s parents played an important part in Beyoncé’s girl
group. Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mom, was the designer of the outfits of Destiny’s Child and Matthew Knowles was the manager of Destiny’s Child.
Beyoncé’s also had a sister named Solange Knowles who was a singer.
Destiny’s Child started when she was seven years old, Beyoncé auditioned for a kids singing group. The group was made up of her, Latavia Roberson, Beyonce's cousin, Kelly Rowland and LeToya Luckett. They eventually toke the name Destiny's Child. Destiny's Child, was signed to Columbia Records in 1997 later on. Apparently in March of 2000, LeToya and Latavia left Destiny's Child because Beyoncé and Matthew Knowles were causing them distress and not giving them the freedom to develop as artists on their own. They were replaced by Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin to take their place and keep the band going. Unfortuanately, Destiny’s Child announced their breakup which was when their tour ended, June 13th, 2005. Then Destiny’s Child released their greatest hits album called, “#1’s”
